THIS POST IS FROM ROOM REMIX - THE BLOG .
I haven't done many posts on kids rooms but, as with anything, I save the creative ideas that I come across. The three rooms that I'm showing in this post today are packed with creativity and DIY ideas, so I thought you may enjoy seeing them.
How absolutely clever is this playroom train made by Cheri at I am Momma Hear Me Roar? The green chalkboard car has a sliding door that opens to mom's craft room!
The caboose has two felt heads spray-glued onto the wall and then a ton of different felt facial parts in the buckets below so they can change out the parts and make different faces.
The room also has it's own mailbox and an apple tree that they can actually climb the ladder to pick apples from! You can see the entire room and the other DIY projects here...
Cheri also has a very talented sister who designed this adorable nursery.
The tree growth chart is fabulous, but there are other DIY projects in this room as well, like the custom flowers that she added to the bumper pad and quilt. To see the rest of the room/projects, click here.
One of the DIY projects that the very talented Karla at It's the Little Things did in her son's bedroom redo was transforming the closet into an open storage space. I love how it turned out. For more details on how she did it, read her post here.
She also made this fun fort bed with a ladder at the end,
and a cozy little spot for reading and playing underneath. What little boy wouldn't love that?
